A restraining order has been filed against Bam Margera by Jackass producer Jeff Tremaine.

Tremaine, 54, has accused Margera, 41, of harassment in a restraining order filed in Los Angeles County Court on Tuesday, according to The Blast.

This comes three months after Margera was reportedly fired from Jackass 4 due to his inability to abide by conditions set by producers relating to his addiction issues.

In the documents, Tremaine has requested a judge order Margera to stay away from him amid accusations the star has harassed him.

What exactly Margera allegedly did that led to the filing is not known.

Tremaine created the Jackass franchise with Johnny Knoxville and Spike Jonze, and has been producing and directing the films and episodes ever since.

That included the upcoming Jackass 4 film, which Margera was fired from due to his inability to abide by certain conditions put in place regarding his sobriety.

Insiders revealed that the conditions included taking his medication, blowing into a breathalyzer, his commitment to staying sober, seeing a psychologist and routine drug tests during the project, according to TMZ.

It is not know which of the conditions Bam reportedly failed to abide by, which led to the producers to inform him he wasn’t part of the Jackass 4 project anymore.

Several Jackass stars have publicly discussed their addiction issues, and in a new interview with GQ, Knoxville said he hoped Margera got ‘the help he needs.’

‘It’s difficult when your friends are…’ Knoxville told the magazine, trailing off before reflecting on the death of his friend Ryan Dunn, who died at age 34 in a drunk driving incident.

‘It was heartbreaking, losing Ryan. And it was tough when Steve-O was going off the rails. But he has completely, completely turned his life around and is doing just—I mean, he’s doing terrific. He’s a different, different man.’

‘I think each of us was responsible for his own actions,’ he said. ‘And when someone’s struggling, everyone tries to help that person. And at the end of the day, that person has to want help. Sometimes they don’t. Yet.’

Asked if his last comment was about anyone in particular, Knoxville brought up Margera: ‘We want Bam to be happy and healthy and get the help he needs. We tried to push that along. I think that’s all I really want to say about it.’

‘I don’t want to get into public back-and-forth with Bam,’ Knoxville told GQ when later asked about Bam’s remarks. ‘I just want him to get better.’

Bam claims he was made to attend a 90-day rehab facility and stay away from alcohol and Adderall as part of the contract he signed, according to The Blast.

However, he ultimately left on 18 other prescription medications that he said led him to have ‘suicidal thoughts.’

On Monday Margera revealed he was in Florida seeking treatment from a woman who has helped the likes of Steve Tyler.

Over the years the Viva La Bam star has struggled with alcoholism. He was hospitalized back in 2009 following several days of binge drinking and entered rehab for the first time later that year, staying only a few days.

His struggle with substance abused worsened following the death of friend Ryan Dunn in 2011.

Over the years Bam has unsuccessfully checked into various facilities to treat his alcoholism, often leaving before the completion of the programs.

The star enjoyed a brief seven-month period of sobriety in 2018 after getting a DUI but relapsed when he was robbed at gun point later that year.

In 2019 he was kicked off of a Southwest flight after he drunkenly berated airline staff.

Just a few weeks later he was arrested in Los Angeles and charged with charged with misdemeanor trespassing for drunkenly refusing to leave a hotel after he was told there were no rooms available.
