Gigi Hadid gushes about Zayn Malik while Kate Hudson pays tribute to Kurt Russell on Father’s Day

Gigi Hadid posted a heart-melting tribute to her partner Zayn Malik while Kate Hudson gushed about her ‘pa’ Kurt Russell as they led the superstars celebrating Father’s Day on social media.  

The catwalk queen, 26, got the day started praising both her father Mohamed Hadid and partner Zayn, who is celebrating his first Father’s Day as a dad this year following the birth of their daughter Khai.

In the caption of a heart-melting photo capturing Zayn and their daughter, Gigi wrote, ‘Our Khai is so lucky to have a baba who loves her so much & does anything to see her smile !! @zayn Happy first Father’s Day .. I’m so grateful for all the lil bits of her that are you. We love you so much.’

In her tribute to dad Mohamed, Gigi posted a snap of her father pushing Khai in a stroller.

‘Happy Fathers Day my daddio @mohamedhadid I love you so much and have loved watching you be the sweetest Jido to Khai!’ she captioned the snap.

Meanwhile, Kate Hudson paid tribute to both her partner Danny Fujikawa and stepfather Kurt Russell.  

Kate paid raved about her stepfather Kurt as she posted a snap of them sharing a sweet moment.   

‘Our great loyal protector. Our dependable authentic captain. Our wild, sometimes untamed adventurer father! From skiing out of helicopters, flying in open cockpit planes, dirt bikes, bareback horse riding, motorcycle rides, boat racing…a childhood and adulthood of adventure. Our Pa always makes life fun. She also called her partner ‘the most brilliant father’ as she posted a slideshow showing Danny doting on their daughter Rani Rose, one.

Ciara, meanwhile, posted heart-melting snaps of her family as she celebrated her husband Russell Wilson.

You are our Rock! Happy Fathers Day Baby,’ Ciara raved in a slideshow of family snaps.

Mandy Moore also raved about her husband Taylor Goldsmith’s natural fathering abilities in a tender tribute which included snaps of him with their baby boy Gus.

‘Let’s face it, I’m pretty sure you were always destined to be a dad. You’ve written songs about coaching little league for goodness sakes….But watching you step into this role with so much confidence and ease and patience and adoration for our sweet guy just astounds me and has made me fall deeper in love than I ever thought possible.

Katherine Schwarzenegger posted a slew of family snaps as she praised her father Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Meanwhile, after officially rekindling their romance, Kylie Jenner gave her on-again beau Travis Scott a Father’s Day shout-out.

Diane Kruger melted hearts with snaps of her partner Norman Reedus bonding with their daughter, including one of them enjoying goodies at a little bakery.

‘We (heart emoji) U Papa. Happy Father’s Day to the one with the sweetest heart,’ she gushed.

A slew of celebrities such as Jessica Biel, Reese Witherspoon, Gabrielle Union, and Sarah Michelle Gellar were among the many stars celebrating the special day on Instagram.

Vanessa Bryant remembered her late husband Kobe Bryant, who was killed in a helicopter crash alongside his daughter Gianna last year, with a throwback photo.

 Ariana Grande shared a throwback photo of herself as a baby while being held her dad Edward Butera’s arms.

Kevin Hart, who is a father of four, shared a photo on the couch with his kids as he thanked God for being so ‘good.’

Vanessa Hudgens, whose dad Greg Hudgens passed away five years ago, opened up about this being a difficult day for her. 

‘Today is definitely a sad day for me. My dad passed away 5 years ago and as I scroll thru my ig and see pics of everyone with their dads my heart breaks cause I miss mine so much,’ she explained. ‘To everyone who’s lost your father, I feel your pain.’ 

Vanessa continued: ‘But we keep them alive in our hearts forever. To everyone who has a dad around, treasure them. Call them. Tell em you love em. And to all you pops out there, Happy Father’s Day. Hope you have a wonderful day and feel extra special.’ 

Her post showed her as a young kid alongside her sister Stella Hudgens.  

Brooke Shields wished her husband Chris Henchy a Happy Father’s Day with a throwback shot of them when their Rowan, 18, and Grier, 15, were still very young.

Demi Moore shared an adorable throwback of her ex-husband Bruce Willis and their Rumer, 32, Scout, 29, and Tallulah, 27, sticking their tongues out at the camera and making silly faces.

Orlando Bloom, who shared a shirtless selfie eating a croissant, gave a ‘shout out to all the dads and father figures.’

Country music superstar Carrie Underwood paid tribute to both her dad Stephen Underwood and the father of her two children Isaiah, six, and Jacob, two.

‘I am beyond blessed to have two amazing fathers in my life…my own, of course, and the father of my boys,’ she captioned a slideshow of photos of both men. 

In addition to sharing a photo of his father Randy Barker, Travis Barker reposted a few photos with his children Alabama, 15, and 17-year-old Landon, who he shares with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. 

His girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian shared a few photos with her late father Robert Kardashian, who passed away in 2003.

Sophie Turner wished her ‘cool cat’ husband a ‘happy 1st father’s day’ as well as her own dad Andrew Turner with a picture of him placing one hand on her baby bump, before she gave birth to her daughter Willa ten months ago.
