The White House has reactivated its Flickr page and released 72 new photos showing President Joe Biden and life inside the presidential estate.
The photos, mostly taken by Chief Official White House Photographer Adam Schultz, show life inside the White House in Biden’s first week, primarily on inauguration day.
Photos show Biden greeting his dogs Champ and Major outside the White House and laughing as he talks on the phone with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson from the Oval Office.
In the call, Biden ‘conveyed his intention to strengthen the special relationship between our countries and revitalize transatlantic ties, underscoring the critical role of NATO to our collective defense and shared values,’ according to a White House readout of the call.
In one photo, Biden embraces his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, from behind as the United States Marine Band plays to welcome them to the White House.

The White House Flickr was started by Pete Souza, Barack Obama’s photographer, in 2009 and has become the primary space to see photos published by official White House photography staff.
The Obama administration’s photos were moved to a separate account when President Donald Trump became president and took it over as part of the official White House transition.
