A woman who is completely covered in tattoos has revealed how she went blind after having her eyeballs inked – but incredibly, she has no regrets.
Sarah Sabbath, 26, from El Paso, Texas, said the “the guy didn’t put enough saline solution into it†which left her unable to see or “do anythingâ€.
Eventually she sought help from an eye specialist who gave her a series of drops which have improved her sight – however she said they “still bother meâ€.
The tattoo lover said she has “no regrets†and that, despite the body art affecting her health, it has “made me a better personâ€.

Sarah told Truly that the tattoo artist had incorrectly measured the solution and that there was “too much ink and not enough waterâ€.
“I had a very difficult time doing anything – I could not watch TV, I didn’t like being around bright lights and I didn’t like being outside,†she said. “I got very, very depressed from it.â€
Sarah, who was bullied at school for being “hairyâ€, said she has always wanted to cover herself in ink, and admitted “my tattoos are important to me because they helped me become a stronger personâ€.
“I think I’ve spent around $US3000-$4000 ($A3900-$5250) on my tattoos. They help me to express myself, they help me to feel me,†she said.
“I don’t regret getting any of the tattoos because I feel more myself now than I did then,†Sarah added.
Sarah told the online publication she often receives comments about her new tattooed appearance, but she doesn’t let that stop her from wanting more.
She said people often think she’s “snobby†or that her tattoos means she “doesn’t have any education†– or worse, she says people assume she’s a “criminalâ€.
“But I don’t mind,†she said adding, “Everyone’s different so I’m not going to judge them for thinking the way that they do. Not everyone has the balls to express themselves the way I do.â€
Her journey is far from over though as she wants to have more designs etched into her face.
“They are my shield … it’s a way of life and a part of me. I’ll never stop getting tattoos,†she said.
On social media, Sarah has amassed a following of almost 30,000 people sharing modelling snaps that show off her inkings.
In one photo she can be seen posing on a staircase wearing just her undies, her numerous body tattoos on display. On her bottom, she has a large red inking that resembles flames while her shoulders have a green and blue design.
Sarah’s face also has numerous tattoos. She explained it began with a small heart to the side of her eye and has grown to include a large forehead tattoo, several cheek designs as well as drawings on her chin and eyelids.
She also has multiple nose piercings, writing on Instagram her facial markings make her feel “like an alien princessâ€.
