Nick Kyrgios has unleashed on Bernard Tomic in a fiery social media tirade after a fan compared the two Australian tennis bad boys.

Kyrgios, 26, took to his Instagram story on Wednesday to point out he and Tomic were nothing alike in their tennis achievements or personal lives.

‘I got compared with Tomic and I’ve never felt more insulted. Does he have a foundation? Does he have the accomplishments? Did he raise money for the bushfires? It’s disgusting man,’ Kyrgios said.

He also said he had never had a relationship with anyone who appears on OnlyFans – referring to Tomic’s girlfriend Vanessa Sierra.

‘Also I ain’t f***ing with anyone who does OnlyFans,’ he said.

And added his on-court achievements included beating the ‘big four’ – otherwise known as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray who have dominated the men’s competition in the last 15 years.

While Kyrgios did not reveal whose comments had sparked the spray he clearly took offence at being compared to 28-year-old Tomic.

Kyrgios is currently ranked 55 in the world while Tomic is ranked 211 and has been reduced to playing on the second tier Challenger circuit.

And while Kyrgios gained exposure throughout a stalled 2020 tennis year by his philanthropic work, Tomic has been kept in the spotlight for racier reasons.

Kyrgios organised the Rally for Relief in January 2020 to raise money for those affected by Australia’s bushfires and supports young tennis players through his NK Foundation.

He also was a vocal critic of Novak Djokovic’s Adria Tour – organised after major tennis events were cancelled in 2020 and which resulted in a number of players including Djokovic getting Covid.

Tomic is currently travelling with Vanessa Sierra who stayed in hotel quarantine with him during the Australian Open and was criticised for complaining about the conditions.

Weeks earlier he had appeared in a promotional post for Ms Sierra’s Only Fans account suggesting he has appeared in a video featured on her subscription only service.
