When it comes to wedding proposals, some people can get very creative.
But perhaps this groom-to-be’s idea tops the list for most … unique.
In a now viral TikTok video that has been viewed more than 15 million times, a couple can be seen enjoying a picnic in a park.
Between them are various boxes of KFC.
While they tuck into their lunch, the boyfriend tells his partner to reach inside one of the boxes to hold a KFC biscuit as he wants to take a photo.
Just for clarification, a “biscuit†is basically a scone and is used to help soak up leftover gravy.

She then grabs the biscuit out of the box and separates it in half, before letting off a loud squeal after discovering an engagement ring inside.
The boyfriend can be heard laughing uncontrollably before asking “will you marry me?â€
Still in shock, the woman repeatedly asks, “Are you kidding me?â€
While the clip cuts off before she gives an answer, another video implies she said “yes†after the pair can be seen happily posing in various shots, with one also of the bride-to-be flaunting her diamond ring, with a chicken fillet in hand.

The man’s video has attracted almost 20,000 comments from people applauding his creative, yet “strange†proposal.
“This is so strange but I love it,†one TikTok user wrote.
“In a KFC BISCUIT IM CRYING hahhaha,†another person added.
“This is so genius and pure I’m crying,†a third person wrote, while a fourth said: “If my husband doesn’t propose this way I don’t want it.â€
Others joked that they would scream the same way if someone just gave them a biscuit.
“OMG imagine if she said no ‘awkwardly takes out the ring and eats the biscuit’.†another person joked.
KFC also commented saying: “We’re always honoured to be a part of special moments, celebrations, traditions and memories of our customers.â€
Believe it or not, it’s not the first time a couple have used the fast-food chain to get married.
In 2020, chicken-obsessed Kate and Harrison Cann from Toowoomba in southern Queensland, took the plunge as the first couple to tie the knot through KFC’s official wedding service.
Just before lockdown hit in March, 150 guests descended on the family property in Highfields to witness the couple say “I do†as the KFC-themed celebrant wedded them in holy matrimony.
Kate and Harrison were selected as the lucky couple following their entry to KFC Weddings in September 2019 having created their version of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme tune about their love for each other and KFC.
There was a personalised KFC buckets, a KFC-themed wedding cake, a photo booth, and of course the famous KFC Food Truck serving up Kentucky Fried Chicken.
