UK sportswear brand Castore agrees kit deal with Premier League club

A fast-growing UK sportswear brand part-owned by Sir Andy Murray has agreed its first kit deal with a Premier League club. 

Castore will supply Wolverhampton Wanderers in a multi-year partnership thought to be worth several million pounds. 

Less than a week ago it was revealed that the Liverpool-based brand’s new biggest investors are billionaire brothers Mohsin and Zuber Issa, the owners of Asda.

Castore was launched in 2015 by brothers Tom and Phil Beahon, and also has the backing of New Look founder Tom Singh and Net-a-Porter founder Arnaud Massenet. 

Wimbledon champion Murray became a shareholder in 2019. 

The deal with Wolves is the second major football kit partnership for Castore, having struck a five-year agreement in May 2020 with Scottish champions Rangers. 

It also has deals with other stars, such as England rugby captain Owen Farrell.
