Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany insists she never lied when she worked for then-president Donald Trump and suggested she can’t because of her faith.Â
“As a woman of faith, as a mother of baby Blake, as a person who meticulously prepared at some of the world’s hardest institutions, I never lied. I sourced my information, but that will never stop the press from calling you a liar.â€
Out of seven McEnany claims reviewed by PolitiFact, just three were rated as “mostly true.†The rest were listed as either “half true,†“mostly false,†“false†or “pants on fire.â€Â Last year, for example, she claimed Trump “never downplayed the virus†despite audio of him admitting to doing exactly that, in those exact words.Â
About a year and 470,000 deaths ago, Kayleigh McEnany described the raging COVID pandemic as “embers†that they expected to happen https://t.co/VsFTm47Rlo

If lies were vaccine shots, Kayleigh McEnany could vaccinate the rest of the United States and have enough left over for Canada & Mexico.

Kayleigh McEnany saying she never lied is like me tweeting that I never tweeted.

It’s hilarious that @kayleighmcenany claims to never lie because of her “faith,” because every other word out of her mouth is a lie, as if she has some weird syndrome. I feel sorry for her daughter, who will have to grow up knowing her mother was a liar. https://t.co/JzW1fB86v4
