President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited the Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto and prayed for a speedy recovery after undergoing left leg surgery at the Panglima Besar Soedirman National Defense Central Hospital (RSPPN), Jakarta.
The moment Jokowi visited Prabowo was uploaded via the Instagram social media account @jokowi, Sunday evening.
“Thank God, Mr Prabowo @prabowo’s operation 1 week ago went smoothly. “Medical measures to recover from injuries that Pak Prabowo experienced while serving in the TNI were successfully carried out by a team of doctors and nurses at RSPPN Sudirman,” said Jokowi in his social media upload.
In his upload, you can see a photo of Jokowi visiting Prabowo Subianto in a room. In the uploaded photo, Prabowo is seen sitting with Jokowi accompanied by his son Didit Hadiprasetyo.
Jokowi also prayed for Prabowo Subianto, who is also the Elected President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 period, to recover quickly after the major surgery he underwent.
“Let’s pray for Pak Prabowo’s post-major surgery recovery process, so that God willing, he will be more ready to carry out his duties serving the Indonesian people,” said Jokowi.
Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto underwent surgery at the National Defense Central Hospital (RSPPN) Panglima Besar Soedirman, Jakarta, for his left leg which was injured in an accident when he served as a soldier in the 1980s.
Prabowo in his Instagram social media account @prabowo explained that the operation took place last week, and he is currently recovering from the operation.
Prabowo also thanked Jokowi who came to visit him directly.
“Thank you to the President of the Republic of Indonesia @jokowi who has provided moral support and prayers,” said Prabowo in his statement, Sunday (30/06/2024).
“I am aware and understand that the medical procedure I am undergoing is full of risks and my life is at stake, I assure myself that all of this is for the state and nation, I am also confident that the team of doctors and all medical personnel who handle it are reliable and professional,” he said.
Meanwhile, Prabowo also emphasized that he was in good health to return to his activities.
He also expressed his gratitude to the people who had prayed for him.
“God willing, in the future I will be even more ready to serve and serve the country and people of Indonesia. “Thank you to the entire community for their prayers and support,” he said.
