The wait for the PS5 has been a long one, and because of a shortage of stock, it has been even longer for most of us, but supply is coming back.
For people trying to get their hands on a PS5, it has felt like a hunt just to find one.
Everywhere you look, the next-generation consoles are sold out, with many waiting months for one to become available.
When stocks are available, consoles are quickly snapped up by people eagerly waiting to click the purchase button.
John Lewis annoyed customers when they re-stocked consoles early this morning – when most of us were still asleep.
Luckily, one social media user has crunched the numbers and worked out exactly when you need to be logged on to find new stock.
The times are:
- Argos – 1am
- John Lewis – 5am
- Amazon – 6am to 7am, sometimes 11am
- GAME – 8am to 9am
- AO – 10am
- Very – 11am or 1pm
It is still best to keep checking throughout the day though as many retails have reported delays.
Customers have turned to social media to vent their frustrations over the lack of stock.
One social media user said, “Luckily I’m out of the game and bagged one when Game dropped last week. One thing that doesn’t make sense to me is if these retailers are actively trying to reduce bot sales, why release stock at silly times in the morning when most are sleeping? Server bandwidth limitations?”
Another complained, “Its a joke cause you pay for a faster notification but it seems like others have even faster notifications. Got people waking up all sorts of hours for a console.”
