Brian Cox won Best Performance By An Actor in a Television Series – Drama at the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards in 2020. Who will go home with the gold this year? Kevin Winter/Getty Images
The 78th Golden Globe Awards have wrapped up! Going into the night, streaming giant Netflix had amassed a jaw-dropping 42 nominations and David Fincher’s Mank leading the film charge with six nominations. But by the end of the night, films like Chloé Zhao’s indie Nomadland had cleaned up in major categories including Best Motion Picture, and the Fincher film had been snubbed.
Throughout the night, hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler riffed off each other from opposite coastal outposts at Rockefeller Center’s Rainbow Room in New York and the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, and Observer Entertainment tallied the Golden Globes winners as they were announced. We continually updated this list all night, so have a look at the winners below, and don’t forget to also check out our streaming guide to find out where you can watch any of the films you may have missed.
