A fitness coach who helps women transform their bodies in as little as two weeks has shared the simple workout she uses to build washboard abs – and all you need is a mat and one dumbbell.

Chloe Ting worked as a corporate statistician before quitting the rat race to start a YouTube channel in 2016, and five years later has more than 20million followers across various social media platforms.

The 34-year-old, who runs the sixth ‘most-watched’ YouTube channel in Australia, is known for her simple exercise videos that show viewers how to train specific areas of the body, primarily the abs, arms and glutes.

In her latest clip, Ms Ting guides fans through a 10-minute routine of 18 movements which she claims is the secret to her enviably flat stomach and shredded six pack.

These include straightforward exercises such as leg lifts, kickbacks and planks, as well as more complex manouevres like dead bugs and roll-up twists.

Ms Ting performs each exercise on each leg for 30 seconds, with a resting break of five to 10 seconds in between to allow her muscles to recover.

She starts by sitting on the floor and performing in and out twists, turning her upper body from side to side while keeping her legs raised a few inches off the ground.

Next, Ms Ting lies down for some scissor hip lifts, which involve lowering one leg to the floor while lifting the other leg with your core engaged and your neck relaxed.

Holding her position on the floor, Ms Ting moves onto sit ups before flipping over to all fours to perform a set of plank drag throughs, a more difficult version of the traditional plank.

Still on all fours, Ms Ting switches to climber taps, a stability exercise that involves balancing on hand and one foot and bringing the other foot towards the other hand.

After returning to a seated position, she then moves on to single leg cycles and bent leg crunches, reaching her arms up to touch her toes while keeping her core engaged.

Ms Ting follows this with single leg drops, side plank dips and double crunches before performing roll up twists and more single leg crunches.

To finish the routine, she lies on her back for glute bridge marches and dead bugs, which involve bending both knees in the air and slowly lifting one leg towards the ground while keeping the other in place.

Ms Ting ends the workout by getting her heart racing with some plank jacks, jumping jacks done in a plank position.

While some viewers complained about the ‘difficulty’ of the movements, the vast majority say they get used to to the circuit style workout in a week.

Transformation photos of women who have completed Ms Ting’s workout plans show the benefits of her programme, with many displaying noticeably slimmer waistlines and more pronounced abs in just two weeks.

Some claim to have lost upwards of 20kgs (3st) over the course of six months by continuing to follow the training regime.

Despite her enormous following, Ms Ting has always been clear that she is not a registered personal trainer, a fact she addresses in the description box of almost every video.

‘When following any of my videos please take precaution to exercise in a safe environment and I highly suggest seeing a health and fitness professional to give you advice on your exercise form and dietary needs,’ she said.

‘Every person is unique and there is no one size fits all solution to health or fitness. I am not a medical professional and your health and safety is the utmost importance.’
