DPW PROPAMI South Sumatra Officially Inaugurated: A New Milestone for Strengthening the Capital Market

TELEGRAF – The Regional Board (DPW) of the Indonesian Capital Market Professionals Association (PROPAMI) in South Sumatra was officially inaugurated in a solemn ceremony held at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Representative Office in Palembang on November 28, 2024.

This inauguration marks a new milestone in the organization’s journey, particularly in South Sumatra, as an effort to strengthen collaboration and contributions in the capital market sector.

The event was attended by the Chairman of PROPAMI, including the Secretary General of the Central Board (DPP) PROPAMI, Ali Hanafiah, Treasurer Titis Sosro, and Hari Mulyono, Head of IDX KP South Sumatra, who witnessed the inauguration ceremony.

The newly appointed DPW PROPAMI South Sumatra board members are:

  • Chairman: Suprianto NA (2021101013396)
  • Vice Chairman: Abdul Rasyid NA (2021107012310)
  • Secretary: Muhammad Aris Febriyansyah NA
  • Treasurer: Indra Kusuma NA (2019107010884)

In his speech, the Chairman of PROPAMI, NS Aji Martono, delivered an inspiring message to the newly appointed board members. He emphasized the importance of synergy, dedication, and innovation in facing challenges in the capital market sector, especially in a region with significant potential like South Sumatra.

“This inauguration is not just a ceremony, but a momentum for all of us to strengthen our commitment to realizing PROPAMI’s mission. I believe that under the leadership of Suprianto and his team, the DPW South Sumatra will bring about positive change, provide real benefits to the community, and maintain professionalism in the capital market sector,” said NS Aji Martono.

Meanwhile, the Head of IDX South Sumatra, Hari Mulyono, expressed gratitude for the trust and collaboration extended by the PROPAMI board. He congratulated the newly inaugurated DPW South Sumatra board and urged them to carry out their responsibilities with full accountability.

“We now have a working partner that can assist in the socialization and education of the capital market. Therefore, the new board must work hard to realize PROPAMI’s vision in South Sumatra. We will prioritize synergy with all parties, including the government, private sector, and the community, as well as with PROPAMI to achieve an inclusive and competitive capital market ecosystem,” said Hari.

The inauguration concluded with the signing of the inauguration minutes by the Chairman of PROPAMI and the Chairman of DPW PROPAMI South Sumatra.

The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and optimism, clearly reflected in the faces of the newly appointed board members. The event, held at the IDX representative office, also served as a networking opportunity for PROPAMI members from various regions, providing a platform to share ideas and solutions for developing an increasingly competitive capital market.

With this inauguration, it is hoped that the DPW PROPAMI South Sumatra will become a driving force for change and innovation in the capital market, while also strengthening PROPAMI’s presence at the regional level.

Following the inauguration, a Continuing Education Program (PPL) was held, where PROPAMI reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the development of the capital market in Indonesia, with a mission to build productive and sustainable collaborations for a better future.
