In a series of Instagram Stories on Thursday, Phoebe thanked her more than 80,000 followers on checking in following her attendance at the hairdresser.
She said that while she wasn’t there at the same time as the positive staffer, she wanted to get tested anyway, showing the process in a video.
“I’ve done my research about contact areas in Sydney and whilst I wasn’t at the Double Bay salon during the close contact timings, I chose to get tested and isolate as soon as possible,†Phoebe wrote.

The mother-of-two revealed her daughter Poppy also got tested.
The popular hairdresser took to his official Instagram page on Thursday to thank NSW Health for their efficiency and support during the outbreak, while also adding his Double Bay salon will be temporarily closed for deep cleaning.
“We will advise our reopening date in due course. Our Bondi and Bowral salons remain open with business as usual,†Joh said.
“An enormous thank you to our valued clients and community who have reached out with messages of support and kindness.â€
Another venue in Double Bay which has also been added to Sydney’s growing list of exposure sites is Matteo restaurant and Paddington’s Christo’s Pizzeria.
Anyone who has been to the venues were considered a close contact and instructed to get tested immediately.
Health authorities still don’t know how the Joh Bailey hairdresser caught the virus with it being the only case in Thursday’s numbers that authorities haven’t been able to link to an existing infection.
NSW Health sent at least four updates since 5pm Thursday with added venues, including Fitness First gyms, a Woolworths, Kmart and 7-Eleven among other sites across Sydney’s inner west, eastern, north shore, western and southwestern suburbs.
Health authorities also warned those in western NSW with fragments of the virus detected for the first time ever at the Bourke sewage treatment plant.
Two Fitness First gyms in Bondi were attended by a positive case, just days after another positive case attended two Fitness First sites in the Sydney’s CBD on June 16 and 17.
