Hundreds of OnlyFans content creators have had their content leaked on a shared Google Drive after it was posted to a hacking forum.

The online file containing the private videos and images from hundreds of accounts, from celebrities pages to sex workers, was shared last month.

OnlyFans is a website that allows content creators to earn money by sharing images, videos, and live streams with fans who pay to subscribe to their content and many creators include a warning in their bio that they will prosecute people who leak their content.

Celebrities such as former EastEnders babe Danniella Westbrook, Lauren Harries and Love Island’s Katie Salmon are among the stars who sell racy snaps and videos on OnlyFans.

Rapper Bhad Bhabie recently joined the site and claims to have earned a record-breaking $1million in just six hours, as she posted her subscription earnings on Instagram.

Over 200 OnlyFans accounts have had their content leaked in shared Google Drive.

There is currently no way of knowing which users were targetted but a researcher has kindly developed software that will help users check whether they have been part of the leak.

Celebrities and sex workers could be at risk from the hack

The researchers at cybersecurity firm BackChannel found the file posted by a member of a hacking forum but it wasn’t possible to know just how many accounts had been affected without downloading and opening the file.

Explict images of celebs and sex workers have been leaked on shared Google Drive.

However, BackChannel founder Aaron DeVera told BleepingComputer that the Drive contained folders of 279 OnlyFans creators, leading him to suspect that more than one person took part in the leak.

Dates on the drive also suggest the majority of the content was uploaded in October 2020.

The head of marketing at OnlyFans has denied that the site has been hacked.

Researchers have created software for users to check if their content has been leaked

Steve Pym told Motherboard: “We have investigated claims of a site-wide hack and found no evidence of any breach of our systems.

“The content contained in the supposed ‘leak’ seems to be curated from multiple sources, including other social media applications.”

The owners of the OnlyFans content need to report individual files for copyright infringement to remove them.

DeVera explained: “Stolen sexually explicit imagery is explicitly called out in their terms of service as a breach, however the only way to report this content is to go to each individual file and report it.”

To help OnlyFans content creators determine if their content is part of this leak, BackChannel has created an ‘ OnlyFans Lookup Tool ‘ which allows an OnlyFans creator to input their member name and determine if their content has been shared without permission.
