Bryan Moss won the lottery – again.
Moss, of Meridian, Idaho, plays the lottery regularly and has won large prizes six times. On Thursday, he claimed the winning ticket for the $250,000Â prize from a Crossword scratch game, the Idaho Lottery said in a statement.
This win is his first top prize and by far the largest, according to lottery officials. He purchased the ticket at the ExtraMile, which will receive a $20,000 bonus from the lottery for selling the winning ticket.
Moss, who owns the Newko Sport and Nutrition health store, shared a photo of his “decent lotto win” on Facebook.
He said in a statement that he plays because he knows the lottery benefits Idaho schools. The Idaho Lottery has distributed $961.5 million in dividends to Idaho public schools and buildings since its inception in 1989.
“I’m proud to help support Idaho public schools, that’s really why I play,†said Moss, who plans to put his winnings aside for his daughter’s education.
