Daughter of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, KH Ma’ruf Amin, Siti Nur Azizah gave full support to the presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo–Mahfud MD pairs. Azizah is firmly ready to join and also will give all support to Ganjar – Mahfud in the 2024 presidential election, until they are succes and win.
This was conveyed by the Chancellor of Unesa during the declaration of volunteers from the Indonesian Justice Advocacy Front for Ganjar Mahfud in Mampang, South Jakarta, Wednesday (20/12/2023) evening.
“Mr Ganjar and Mr Mahfud are a very complete pairs, both in capacity, integrity and in their footsteps, they are worthy of being trusted by us to carry out the mandate of reform. It is an honor for me to be able to stand here to win over him,” Azizah said.
According to Azizah, Ganjar Mahfud is the ideal partner to lead Indonesia. Both are young and sat-set (smart moving) at work.
“Let’s fight together to win Ganjar Mahfud in order to uphold the supremacy of law and eradicate KKN in Indonesia. This is big homework for the Indonesian people,” he confirmed.
When met after the event, Azizah said that her steps had been consulted with her father, KH Ma’ruf Amin. As a statesman, Kyai Ma’ruf hopes that democracy can run smoothly, well, honestly and fairly.
“He hopes that democracy can produce leaders who can fulfill the hopes and needs of society,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ganjar welcomed the joining of Vice President Ma’ruf Amin’s daughter. He emphasized that he had new energy and was increasingly enthusiastic about fighting with the people.
“Of course I am grateful. I once visited Kyai Ma’ruf and got a lot of advice. Now his daughter is with us. We are very happy and this is part of our energy. Moreover, he is from Banten, and that is important for us,” Ganjar said.
During the event, hundreds of legal scholars and advocates expressed their support for the Ganjar Mahfud couple. Apart from being ready to mobilize the masses, they are also ready to ensure that the democratic process runs honestly and fairly and are ready to provide legal assistance to people who experience violations during the 2024 election process.
