If you’re a dog lover as well as a tech-head, you may be in for a treat.
This new AI-powered robot dog can sense your emotions, and socially interact with its human owners.
Koda’s super-smart robot-pup can be seen performing all sorts of techy tricks in the company’s latest launch video.
The shiny canine bot is designed to replicate the role of family pet and man’s best friend, built with this special bond between humans and real dogs in mind.
For example, it has been specially designed to socially interact with humans and can even sense your emotions.
Over time, the dog should be able to learn through experience and respond to their owner’s feelings.

In the launch video, we see the canine helper fetch a box of tissues for its upset owner.
It can also act as a guide dog for any visually impaired owners, and even a guard dog if you’re in need of security.
Koda says the dog is a “powerful supercomputer that can solve complex problems”.
They add that it has a “blockchain-enabled decentralized AI infrastructure”, which allows it to learn and perform a wide range of new and complex skills.
Apparently, this also enables them to protect user data and privacy and helps shield them from getting hacked.
Emma Russell, Koda’s CEO, said: “It is a functional piece of home technology, a family pet, and a piece of art all at once.”
The model is packed with high-tech motors to move like a real animal, as well as “foot force sensors”, 3D depth cameras, loudspeakers on each side, and a touch-sensitive head.

However, as well-behaved as it may be, this canine doesn’t come cheap as you can buy them for $45,000, which is just over £32,000.
Although they may not beat our favourite fluffy friends, these robot dogs could be just the right partner for someone who wants a pet companion without the usual clean-up.
