Prince Philip’s funeral must be the end of the feud between William and Harry, says a Royal photographer.

Arthur Edwards MBE, a Royal photographer for The Sun claims that the “best way to signal peace” is if the two princes were to walk in the procession together on April 17.

The 80-year-old who has specialised in snaps of the family since 1977 expressed his hopes for an end to the feud in the publication this morning.

He wrote: “I sincerely hope the one good thing to come from Prince Philip’s death is for Harry to end his feud with William.

“The best way to signal peace in the House of Windsor would be for the brothers, with Catherine, to walk together behind the coffin on Saturday.”

He added that “no one would be happier than the Queen” to see the end of the rift that has been brought to light since Meghan and Harry’s scandalous interview with American TV host Oprah Winfrey.

The distance between Diana’s son has caused concern as the pair are meant to unveil a statue in honour of their mother, the Princess of Wales later this year.

“If they can heal their relationship now, the atmosphere when the brothers meet again for the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue in July will be better,” Edwards said.

However, it is unknown whether there is too much damage done to their relationship as Prince William dropped his 20-year friendship with ITV journalist, Tom Bradby for siding with his brother.

Royal biographer Angela Levin claimed that the brotherly bond may never be the same again, the Express reported last month.

She said: “I don’t think things will ever go back to the way they once were (between William and Harry) but I think a relationship could be maintained.

“I think William is very upset too that Harry’s gone away because they were very, very close, and I think he can make it up.

“They can have a relationship, but it just won’t be the same.”
