A creepy oddball has left 200 notes in letterboxes looking for a young woman who can help his produce an heir.

The desperate weirdo posted the letters across Canberra in Australia detailing how the pregnancy and his relationship with the child would pan out.

The forward-planning 32-year-old revealed he is taking the bizzare initiative to flyer as his current girlfriend is 74 and can’t conceive.

According to 7NEWS, who spoke with the author of the letters, he has unfortunately had no luck on Bumble or Tinder or any parenting apps.

In the letter he gives the potential mother the option of “natural insemination” or “artificial” and promises a one-off payment of $5000 dollars.

He stipulates that the mother should be between 18 and 26 and her mother, who will also become a legal parent, must be aged between 35 and 50 years.

He explains that when the surrogate is happy to proceed a contract will be drawn up ensuring that the father will “pay no child support”.

However the child will stand to inherit the father’s and paternal grandfather#s estate and “have a safe financial future”.

The oddball would also like to see the child at Christmas for five days before signing off the letter with: “The bottom line is that the father to be requires an heir”

According to 7NEWS the suitor has had some success with the responses.

“I have already had two genuinely interested people contact me within that area so I can say it is so far successful,” the man said.

Australian Federal Police (AFP) have been made aware of the letter and have issued a statement.

A police spokesperson said: “ACT Policing is aware of unaddressed letters requesting surrogacy services for an ‘heir’ left in letterboxes in north Canberra suburbs.

“The contents are distasteful and the offer of a cash payment for surrogacy may be an offence.

“We expect that anyone who receives such a letter would place it in their recycling bin.”

One local woman found the note in her letter box and decided to post the note on Facebook.

In response one person commented: ““This is disgusting, so creepy and just awful.”

Another joked: “Who said romance was dead?”
