A royal biographer claims the Queen “doesn’t encourage others to talk about their feelings” – and that Meghan Markle and Princess Diana both “wanted something they didn’t get”.

Ruling for nearly 70 years, Queen Elizabeth’s life spans almost a century and recently she met her 13th US President in office, Joe Biden.

Over the years there have been a number of controversies surrounding the royal family, from Lady Diana’s death in 1997 through to Harry and Meghan’s controversial interview with Oprah, this year.

A new biography by acclaimed royal author Matthew Dennison has revealed some fascinating insights into the Queen’s private life, including some of the challenges she has faced from conversations with Princess Diana and Meghan Markle, the Daily Mirror reports.

“Diana had meeting after meeting with the Queen, who ultimately felt it was the same conversation happening over and over again. Diana never forgot who her mother-in-law was and that provided a barrier that was not of the Queen’s making.
