Doorbell cam catches Amazon driver ‘stealing MacBook’ after taking picture of parcel

An Amazon delivery driver appears to have been caught on doorbell cam stealing a MacBook moments after taking a photo to “prove” it reached its destination.

In the footage, the woman appears at the door with the Amazon-branded package and places it on the doorstep.

She then takes a step back to take a photograph of the delivered parcel on her mobile phone.

Instead of immediately leaving, she picks up the package again and walks off with it tucked under her arm.

The video was uploaded on TikTok by user Vitaly @talktomeinstead on March 10 and since then has been watched more than 10 million times.

Many people were infuriated by the alleged theft and thousands left comments.

One person commented: “Makes you think how many other times she did this without being recorded and got away with it.”

“She didn’t even check for cameras or if there was anyone around,”

“So she really didn’t see the doorbell camera right in her face?” a second baffled viewer asked.

A fourth person commented: “Bruh happened to me once and Amazon refused to refund me the dog stuff I ordered since it got a picture.”

Other people said there might be more to the video and some suggested she realised the parcel was at the wrong address and went to take it to the right door.

“Bro maybe she just send it to the wrong address,” said one person.

Some people suggested you wouldn’t even be able to fit a MacBook into the size of the box she was carrying.

Amazon said it is investigating the video.
