A “bubbly†student was found dead just hours after she had reported being raped at a party, an inquest heard.
Megan Younger-Watson, 17, was reportedly “distraught” when she told friends she had been attacked as they walked home from a flat party.
Suffolk Coroner’s Court heard she was spotted on CCTV in an intoxicated state at her Christchurch House, Ipswich, supported living arrangement.
She had been carried upstairs twice by night concierge and was last seen on CCTV at around 8am entering her partner’s room where an argument started.
Megan later calmed down and returned to her own room, the inquest was told, but was found dead the next morning by friends who dialled 999.

Suffolk senior coroner Nigel Parsley was told police found Megan dead inside after breaking the door down and were unable to revive her.
Detective Inspector Daniel Connick of Suffolk Police said Megan’s alleged rape had been investigated following her death.
A male suspect was identified but never brought to court after the CPS decided against prosecution.

But Det Insp Connick said it was “apparent” that Megan would have been “too intoxicated” to consent to sex.
Mr Parsley pointed to two “missed opportunities” where advice was not sought from NHS 111 about how to deal with Megan.
He also noted that the duty manager had not been informed of the teen’s condition and said he would be requesting more information about the extent of CCTV coverage at Christchurch House.

Mr Parsley said he felt Megan’s behaviour on the night before she died seemed “out of character” and ruled her death as misadventure.
Her dad, Stuart Haggar, said she appeared to have turned a corner and had been on a “confident road to adulthood” in the year before she died.
Mum Natashia Younger-Watson, said she felt more could have been done to protect her daughter on the night she did.
