A chicken farm worker from Lancashire has won £1.3million from a £2 spin on Betfair Casino.
Sean Ward, 35, from Lancashire, was working at the farm in Wakefield when he landed the big money.
He originally thought he had won £1,300 before he checked his account again and confirmed the actual jackpot total.
Sean, who immediately celebrated with a trip to buy champagne and cigars, plans on embarking on two once-in-a-lifetime trips when travel restrictions ease, firstly taking his family to Disneyland before arranging a fishing trip to Thailand with his pals.
Generous Sean’s plans for the windfall don’t stop there either, as he’s going to invest in new kits and a full sponsorship for his grassroots team South Ribble Development Centre next season, while also getting a box at his beloved Preston North End next season for him and his match-going mates.
Sean said: “After working at the chicken farm I was back at my digs with a workmate who I live with and I decided to have a few spins on Betfair Casino.
“I landed the jackpot and showed my phone to my mate to check – he thought it was £1,300 but I told him he’d need to add a few zeros.
“I was in complete shock so had to look at the balance a few times and it still hasn’t sunk in – it’s the most surreal moment of my life.

“Just like Rodney once famously said to Del Boy – £1.3 million – not bad for a day’s work.â€
He added: “We celebrated with cigars and champagne and once restrictions ease, I’m looking forward to celebrating the big win with my nearest and dearest to give them a holiday experience they’ll never forget.â€
Sam Rosbottom from Betfair said: “We’re delighted for Sean and couldn’t be happier to pay out such a large amount of money.
“Since his big day, we’ve been in touch to help Sean with his withdrawal and to deliver his big win education, where we discuss the importance of controlling play, applying safer gambling tools, and coming to terms with a sum like £1.3 million, which sounds like it’s going to be well-spent.â€
