Chihuahua appears to say ‘hello’ in English accent to gobsmacked owner

We’ve all wished our dogs could talk at least once – but it appears one chihuahua can!

Fuggers, an eight-year-old pooch, has gone viral on TikTok after appearing to say ‘hello’ in an English accent.

The dog’s comical conversation has been viewed over eight million times on the video sharing app, reports TeamDogs.

Owner Shana Gilbert, 41, from Bedford, said she “laughed” when she heard the little ‘hello’ and shared a greeting back with her rescue dog.

She said: “I was filming her trying to get on the sofa as she makes these weird protest noises. She wanted me to lift her on.

“When she said ‘hello’, I laughed and said ‘hello’ back.

“I posted it and went to bed and woke up in the morning to more than 30,000 views – it’s still getting more hits now.

“I was amazed that my little Fuggers had gone viral and she’s just oblivious.”

Shana, a professional pet groomer, rescued Fuggers from a puppy farm where she was being used for breeding when she was just 15 months old.

Commenting on the video, one TikTok user said: “Take a gander at this polite fellow.”
