Former President Donald Trump has been snapped in his new office with a miniature statue of himself.

After his former aide, Stephen Miller, shared a photo of them together at Mar-a-Lago in Florida, Twitter users were quick to take note of Trump’s decorations.

Senior Advisor Mr Miller captioned the photo: “Just had a terrific meeting with President Trump!”

Positioned on top of Trump’s desk – similar to the Oval Office’s Resolute Desk – was a memento of his US-Mexico border wall turned into a trophy.

The ex-president proudly shows off a chunk of the metal from the controversial construction, presented to him during a visit to Calexico, California in 2019, the NY Post reports.

Eagle-eyed viewers of the photo picked up on a pair of reading glasses which Trump is rarely seen wearing, and in the centre of the desk is an open copy of the Wall Street Journal.

Even keener eyes picked up on a glass bottle of Diet Coke discreetly positioned behind a landline phone, despite Republican calls to boycott Coca-Cola which opposes a new bill in Georgia, designed to crack down on early voting.

Unlike his desk in the White House however, Trump does not appear to have a button to order his favourite fizzy drink.

On the other side table is a small model of Trump and a collection of military challenge coins, according to the Daily Mail.

Behind the men on either side of French windows, are pictures of Marine One flying in front of Mount Rushmore to Trump’s left and on his right, Air Force One flying over DC.

The property mogul turned Republican leader once tweeted he would like his face to be added to the famous cliff edge alongside U.S. presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

Miller was an immigration policy hardliner and as the ex-President’s senior advisor helped push reforms to reduce illegal and legal immigration.
