England fans have mobbed a Gareth Southgate lookalike outside Wembley ahead of their huge Euro 2020 crunch match with Denmark.

Sporting waistcoat and all, the Three Lions supporter was seen partying in a big group of England fans in northwest London before kick-off on Wednesday evening.

Fans were desperate to bag a selfie with the impressive doppelganger – presumably, so they can look back on when they first met.

He fist-pumped with supporters as they posed for photos ahead of the semi-final match.

Fans were loving his appearance.

In a post on Twitter, one person wrote: “Gareth Southgate lookalike brought his A-game to Wembley.”

Another added: “Spotted a Gareth Southgate lookalike in the stands. Could come in handy haha.”

It is the second time during this tournament that the lookalike has been seen.

The famous fan was also spotted ahead of England’s knockout match against Germany.

He was pictured outside The White Horse Fuller’s Pub and Restuarant in Wembley just a short walk away from the national stadium.

It’s also not the first time the fan has been spotted donning a full Southgate costume having been seen at the World Cup in Russia in 2018.

The lookalike certainly fooled a few fans into thinking he was the actual England boss on Twitter:

“Ha! Even some people right there thought it was him,” wrote one supporter.

“Two Gareth Southgates. There’s only two Gareth Southgates. Two Gareth Southgates…” joked another.

While one fan quipped: “He gets about doesn’t he.”

With Wembley Stadium hosting both the semi-finals and final, the suited supporter may be hoping to don his costume all the way to England glory.

England fans packed out pubs hours before kick-off in anticipation of the huge Euro 2020 semi-final with Denmark.

The Three Lions are bidding to qualify for a first major tournament final since the 1966 World Cup, and many supporters have been eagerly queuing at bars across the country to calm their nerves with a pint.

Football fans are expected to down a staggering 6.8 million pints during the game on Wednesday, with 9.7 million bought in total across the day.

Fans who have gathered in Trafalgar Square ahead of England’s Euros semi-final match have spoken of being “dead nervous”.

Kane Lycett, 31, from Bermondsey, south London, who is watching in the Uefa fan zone, said: “I love and hate football at the same time, occasions like this just aren’t enjoyable at all, it’s torture, to be honest.

“It reminds me so much of the Croatia game in the World Cup in 2018, everyone was on a high and looking ahead to the final and we got beat.

“I’m not sure what will happen if we concede, we’re not used to it having been so defensively strong the whole tournament.
