Police are appealing for help finding a young woman who vanished after last being seen in Inverness, Scotland over two months ago.
Marilena-Maria Maftei was last seen on Tuesday, January 19 in the Glenurquhart Road area of the city.
The force is appealing for witnesses who may have seen her.
The 33-year-old’s worried family, who live in Romania, are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare, the Daily Record reports.
Investigators say she used to live in Edinburgh but it is not known if she moved back to the capital or elsewhere in Scotland.
She is described as being white, 5ft 10in tall with long blonde to light brown hair and may have been wearing black leggings with a waist-length green and grey wool cardigan.
Sergeant David McAlpine said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Marilena-Maria and would urge anyone who may have seen her or who knows where she is now to get in touch.
“Likewise, if Marilena-Maria sees this appeal we would ask her to get in touch with officers or her family to let us know that she is safe and well.”
Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101.
Callers should quoting incident reference number 0809 of Monday, 22 March, 2021.
