Prince Charles gave a video message about the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with Harry’s photo no longer behind him, which could be another sign of the feud between them.
Normally Charles makes videos from his offices at Highgrove or Birkhall with an array of photos in the background of his family but this time there was just an image of his mum, eldest son and eldest grandchild.
It comes after Harry took another swipe at the Royal Family and the way of life in the Armchair Expert podcast with Dax Shepard.
Charles was talking about the campaign to plant millions of trees to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee next year.
But eagle eyed royal fans could see that Harry’s photo had gone along with others.
There are worries within the royal fold that Harry is not yet finished and could make further attacks on the Windsors.
He has hinted he was ready to say more about his relationship with his father and the death of his mum Diana during a trailer for a new mental health documentary where he is again teaming up with Oprah Winfrey.
It has been questioned by royal experts whether their relationship is now beyond repair.
A Mirror source said: “There is concern given the Duke and Duchess’ recent claims as to just what they may have said to Winfrey. They have not held back in their allegations and there is nothing to suggest they won’t make further ones.â€
Harry has been criticised for lacking compassion for his family by saying to Shepard that he would not want his children to be brought up the way he was and that he knew in his early 20s that he wanted something different.
He also said that he needed “to break the cycleâ€.
Sources close to Prince Harry have suggested that he is not acting too differently to Charles who also spoke about his unhappy childhood.
Charles authorised Jonathan Dimbleby to write The Prince of Wales: A Biography 1994, after he was interviewed at length.
It looked into his problems growing up and gave his account of the breakdown in his marriage to Diana.
