Royal fans fear Prince George will be “wounded for the rest of his life” by watching England’s defeat in the Euro 2020 final.
Young George, seven, attended the huge football match with his parents Prince William and Kate Middleton.
His wild celebrations when the Three Lions took an early lead at Wembley went viral, but he was later pictured looking heartbroken after England suffered a devastating penalty shoot-out defeat to Italy.
Now the hosts of the Royally Obsessed podcast, Roberta Florito and Rachel Bowie, are worried it will have a profound effect on the young prince, who turns eight next week.
The podcast said: “It’s heartbreaking. I feel that will be something that’s a wound for George for the rest of his life.

“If and when they (England) make it back to another moment like that, it’s just going to be a deep wound. He’ll always remember that.
“We’ve all gone through that with sports teams.”
England were competing in a first major tournament final for the first time since the 1966 World Cup final.
George was allowed to stay up late to watch the dramatic conclusion of the final, while the avid football fan also attended England’s crucial victory over bitter rivals Germany earlier in the competition.
The seven-year-old sported a matching suit to his dad William, leading royal fans to dub him his dad’s ‘mini-me’.
They also think George will cherish the good memories of Euro 2020, where he got to watch some huge sporting contests with his mum and dad.
The Royally Obsessed podcast added: “I also think it’s the happy memories of him being in the crowd with his parents.

“There’s not that many times that they’ve done that. When he hugged Kate that was a real moment.
“He’s basically William in tiny form. He looked so cute.
“The dress code – David Beckham, Tom Cruise – everyone was pretty formal at that game. George looked a lot older than he had recently. He looks like a little adult now.”

Meanwhile, the horrific abuse George suffered on social media during the match may force his mum and dad to keep him out of the spotlight.
Trolls mocked him for wearing a suit like William during the match, with some Scottish supporters calling the royal a “twerp” and telling him to “cry into your tie” after England’s defeat.
Royal expert Robert Jobson said Kate and William may now choose to keep the youngster out of the limelight after the abuse.

He said: “Some were critical about him wearing a shirt and tie like his dad which I thought was very harsh.
“He has been very popular but I think they are going to try and keep him out of the limelight a little. They are very conscious of that.”
Royal experts also predict that George will be wearing suits at public events on a regular basis from now on.
