With Meghan Markle rumoured to be giving birth in the coming weeks speculation is mounting whether Prince Harry will make it back for the unveiling of his mother’s statue.
The statue of Diana, Princess of Wales is due to be revealed on July 1 for what would have been her 60th birthday.
The Duke of Sussex is set to return for the special day but it is becoming clearer that a clash of dates with the upcoming birth of his daughter could pose a problem.
Harry and his brother Prince William commissioned the statue in 2017 to mark 20 years since her untimely death in Paris.
When the decision for a commemorative statue to Diana was planned the two brothers appeared to be inseparable but it is understood the relationship has since soured somewhat.
According to The Mirror’s Royal Editor, Russell Myers, it is looking a distinct possibility that Harry will be forced to skip the event in London.
He told ITV’s Lorraine: “The things I’m being told is they still really want to be there, both of them.

“Certainly, William and Kate will be there.
“But whether Harry can fly over there because the baby is imminently due this summer… it will certainly be in the next couple of weeks.”
The unveiling of Diana’s statue was seen as a chance for the two brothers to put their differences to the side and remember the woman that they both dearly loved
Mr Myers said: “ This is a big deal because the boys – William and Harry – have been working on this statue for quite a long time. And will they, won’t they be seen together?
“It’s been talked about for so many months now, this deteriorating relationship. And the issue is that Harry is expecting a second child – a baby girl on the way – and whether they will attend together or whether they will make separate speeches,†he added.
Prince Harry has been vocal recently regarding his unhappiness growing up as a member of the Royal Family and how it led to “genetic pain and sufferingâ€
He appeared to criticise his father, Prince Charles, and described being a royal as a mix between living in The Truman Show and caged in a zoo.
