Prince William wants to “repair†his relationship with Prince Harry but was “shocked†by his recent comments, a royal expert has claimed.
Earlier this month, the Duke of Sussex compared growing up in the Royal Family to “a mixture between The Truman Show and being in a zooâ€.
Harry said he and Meghan Markle had left the UK to “break the cycle†for his children and escape the “pain and sufferingâ€.
Relations between Harry and William are already thought to be strained, especially in the wake of the explosive Oprah Winfrey interview.
Harry’s new remarks, made on US actor Dax Shepard’s podcast Armchair Expert, reportedly left his brother reeling.

Nick Bullen, editor and co-founder of True Royalty TV, told US Weekly that William “is very shocked by the amount of things that his brother has said over the last few weeksâ€.
Mr Bullen believes “it’s going to take some time†before their relationship is mended.
He added: “I’m sure the Royal Family and the various royal households just want a moment of calm and [are saying], ‘Let’s not have any more headlines. Let’s just have a period when no one’s speaking.â€

However, the royal commentator believes that William likely “wants the relationship repairedâ€.
Last week, reports claimed Harry is “demanding” that Meghan be an official part of the ceremony to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death – or he may not show up himself.
The duke is set to return to the UK on July 1 to unveil a statue in his mum’s honour in the grounds of Kensington Palace to mark the 20th anniversary of her tragic death.

Previous reports suggested Harry and William came together to sign off on the statue of their mother .
Now gossip website Radar reports Harry is demanding his wife be made a part of the ceremony to unveil the statue of his late mother.
A source reportedly told the site: “Harry is demanding the Meghan be part of the official ceremony.

“She will not be able to attend in person because of the couple’s second child, but Harry is pushing to have comments prepared by Meghan included in the event or a video message featuring his wife released to the media the same day the brothers unveil the statue.”
The report adds that Harry may not come over to the UK for the event after the “cold shoulder” he received after coming over for his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral.
