Prince William has reportedly reached out to his brother Prince Harry following the explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey which aired on ITV in the UK.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s tell-all interview with the iconic TV host aired last week – and several shocking allegations were made about the Royal Family.

Harry spoke of his strained relationship with his brother and father, explaining how Prince Charles wouldn’t “take his calls” after they left for Vancouver.

He went on to explain that he “didn’t have anyone to turn to” to admit that his wife was struggling.

When asked about his relationship to William, Harry told Oprah: “I love William to bits. He’s my brother. We’ve been through hell together. I mean, we have a shared experience. But we’re on different paths.”

During the interview, Meghan insinuated there was racism within the monarchy, after claiming there was “concerns” over “how dark” the colour of Archie’s skin may be.

William was quizzed about his feelings about the allegations while visiting School 21 in Stratford on March 11, to which he replied: “We’re very much not a racist family”.

He also told reporters that he had not yet spoken to Harry, but vowed: “But I will do.”

Now reports suggest that the pair have spoken, and a reunion is set for July when they will come together for a tribute to Princess Diana, their mother, on what would have been her 60th birthday.

The reports suggest that the Duke of Cambridge messaged his brother in a bid to “arrange a conversation”.
