Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s hidden message in August baby photo

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brookbank recently shared an adorable picture of their newborn baby August – which may have contained a hidden message.

The new family look overjoyed in the snap, which shows Eugenie standing proudly by Jack’s side as he holds his firstborn in his left hand.

Both Eugenie and Jack look “very casually dressed” and “laid back” in the picture and the pair have adopted a dressed down style, body language expert Judi James told Daily Star.

New mum Eugenie can be seen wearing a plain white dress with a light pink overcoat and a statement head piece to match.

The glowing daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York, Prince Andrew, appears to have, like most Brits in the pandemic, outgrown her blonde highlights.

Dad Jack “looks like he’s just come in from a run,” Ms James remarks, but adds the comment is not negative as both are “wonderfully casual”.

In fact, Ms James claims the pair may be signalling something more through their laid back style.

She said the pair are likely to have adopted the “influence” of Kate Middleton, with her recent relaxed selfie, and want to show themselves as “normal,” not Royal, people.

Ms James said: “I think they’ve both adopted the influence of Kate.

“The image is the same vibe as the picture of Kate, Eugenie and Jack are both very casually dressed.

“It’s a hallmark of the pandemic and they’re not doing anything grand to stand out.”

The body language expert goes on to add there’s “nothing royal or ostentatious” about the pair, despite Eugenie being the cousin of Prince Harry and Prince William, and her grandmother being the Queen.

In turn, Ms James says “they’re doing what they want to do” and “want to be viewed as a normal couple”.

She said: “They just look very natural. There’s nothing royal or ostentatious about them.

“The pair are doing what they want and they want to be viewed as a normal couple, there’s nothing royal about them.”

Ms James adds: “Jack and Eugenie are reminiscent of the pandemic, like everyone else in the UK they’ve taken style back a notch.”

Princess Eugenie announced her pregnancy on Friday, September 25, 2020 just two years shy of her second wedding anniversary in October.

She gave birth on Tuesday 9th February 2021, Buckingham Palace confirmed, and revealed the child’s name to be August in a sweet Instagram post.

Her son is the Queen’s ninth great grandchild and is 11th in line to the throne.
