The Queen will reportedly quiz Prince Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Camilla over Meghan Markle‘s dramatic royal claims.
Meghan and husband Prince Harry sat down with TV host Oprah Winfrey in a bombshell interview that was aired on Sunday, March 7 on CBS and Monday (March 8) on ITV in the UK.
In it, the Duchess claimed there were concerns over how dark Archie’s skin colour would be.
Neither Meghan or Harry disclosed the identity of the person who made the remark.
But according to TheSun, Her Majesty is set to quiz senior members of the royal family over Meghan’s claims.
There is no suggestion the monarch has accused one of the four of saying it.
The Queen said on Tuesday the accusations will be “addressed privately”.
Meghan also claimed she was feeling suicidal, and had been denied help when she approached the Palace HR department.
A source told the paper: “One of the things that will be looked at is why on earth did Meghan go to the Palace HR department for help and not to senior members of the Family.
“They have medical households full of medical experts that could have helped with everything.â€
The Palace’s statement in full read: “The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.
“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning.
“Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.â€
It added: “Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.â€
William has reportedly been left “livid” over the accusations, while Prince Charles is reported to have been left in a “state of despair”.
In the interview, Harry had said that he felt “really let down” by the Prince of Wales, who he claimed had stopped taking his calls.
