Royal fans ecstatic to see Harry, William and Kate reunited with Philip’s ‘work done’

Royal fans were delighted to see Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton speaking again after Prince Philip’s funeral.

As his coffin was taken towards St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, the brothers walked behind it but were separated by their cousin Peter Phillips.

During the ceremony, they also sat opposite each other.

However, once it had ended Harry walked up towards the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and started chatting with them.

At one point, Kate moved away to give the brothers some room.

One Twitter user responded: “RIP Prince Philip. Your work here is done. Reuniting your two grandsons your final blessing.”

Another said: “Royal trio comeback made my heart even warmer today. I miss Prince William, Catherine and Prince Harry together.”

A third added: “The photo you’ll see everywhere, along with The Queen sitting alone.”

A source earlier told the Daily Telegraph report that Kate would act as peacemaker between the brothers.

Royal commentator Victoria Arbiter claimed: “There were cars waiting to transport the royals back to the castle but they chose to walk as a family.

“Having been separated in the Chapel they’re now able to come together which will be a comfort to the Queen.”

Meghan Markle penned a moving tribute to the late Duke of Edinburgh from across the Atlantic – after not being able to travel back to the UK during her pregnancy.

The Duchess of Cambridge was unable to make the 6,000-mile trip from Montecito to London to attend the funeral, but left a handwritten note on a wreath Harry brought to St George’s Chapel.

The couple chose the flowers, including Acanthus mollis – the national flower of Greece – to mark Philip’s heritage.

They selected Eryngium to represent the Royal Marines.

Meghan, who is a skilled calligrapher, also left a handwritten note for the duke.

Buckingham Palace previously said Meghan had been “advised by her physician not to travel”.

She is in the second trimester of a pregnancy, considered high-risk due to her tragic miscarriage last year.
