A teenage rape victim has told of her 26-hour ordeal at the hands of the ‘Classified Ad Rapist’ Bobby Joe Long in a new Netflix film.

Lisa McVey was 17 when she was kidnapped and tortured by the ten-time serial killer while she was contemplating suicide in Florida.

Instead of suffering the same fate as his other victims, the teen talked him into letting her live and her clear thinking is credited for Long’s arrest in 1984.

He is thought to have raped more than 50 women and killed 10 over a period of eight months.

Lisa, who went on to get married and become a Florida police officer, watched from the front row as he was given a lethal injection in 2019.

She had been cycling home from her job at a doughnut shop in the early hours of November 3 1984 when she was knocked off her bike by Long and bundled into his car at gunpoint, the Sun reports.

He then blindfolded her, bound her hands and forced her to perform oral sex before driving her to his apartment, 30 minutes away.

“He held me for 26 hours at gunpoint,” she later told Fox13.

Lisa told him: “Listen, it’s unfortunate how we met, but I can be your girlfriend. I could take care of you, and no one ever has to know.”

“I talked to him gently, like a four-year-old,” she said.
