Brits looking for a tasty snack from Uber Eats today have been left hungry as the app went down for thousands of users.

People have flooded Twitter complaining that they have been unable to place their order.

Replying to people’s concerns, the official Twitter account for the company said: “Thanks for reaching out.

“Please be advised that there’s a known issue about the app. Our team is already aware of this and working to fix it as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience.”
