Brits will bask in a mini-heatwave this weekend with scorching highs of 19C as people enjoy the second weekend of more freedoms.

People across the UK have enjoyed beer gardens, restaurants, and bars reopening outside as the second step of the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown is well underway.

The warm weather lurking around the corner this weekend will offer a sweet bliss to the well-earned freedoms.

Brits will bathe in highs of 19C on Saturday after the same soaring mercury was recorded on Friday, in western parts of England and North Wales.

The hazy sunshine will return today after temperatures drop to just 6C overnight.

It’s predicted that it’ll stay dry on Sunday as well, but it won’t be as much as a scorcher with the average expected to be around 14C.
