A woman who disgustingly helped her partner sexually abuse a toddler because she wanted to “please him” has been jailed.
Shannon Vicary, 25, pleaded guilty to two counts of arranging a child sex offence and has been jailed for four-and-a-half-years.
Earlier this year her then-partner was named a “truly despicable human being” after he was found with more than 600 images of him abusing the child on two separate occasions, Wales Online reports.
Michael Colmer, 45, gained access to the child with the help of Vicary.
The court heard that Colmer showed “unimaginable levels of depravity” as he and his girlfriend planned to be alone with the victim.

Colmer was sentenced to 11 years and four months imprisonment with an extended licensing period of six years – making the total sentence 17 years and four months.
Harrowing WhatsApp messages show the couple fantasising about what he was going to do with the child as he sent photos of his erect penis to Vicary.
When he was arrested he admitted to police that he was sexually attracted to children.
The mother of the victim said the family’s lives had been “devastated” as a result of the pair’s vile actions.
Vicary manipulated situations which enabled Colmer to be alone with his victim on two occasions without the mother knowing anything was going on.
He took photos of the child as well as filming himself carrying out sexual acts.
Police discovered the abuse after the National Crime Agency located an email address at the property which had been used to access indecent images of children.
“He took pictures of the abuse he was committing. She facilitated the abuse,” said prosecutor Matthew Cobbe.
Colmer committed the first incident in September last year.
The second incident came shortly after and pictures of children as a young as 18-months-old were found in his possession.
Prosecutor Cobbe read a statement to the court on behalf of the victim’s “devastated” family, it read: “[The child] is very clingy. [The child] has had to go through a medical examination, which is not a nice experience for a young child.
“I don’t trust anyone to look after [the child]. The only person I trust is my mother.
“I don’t understand why they did what they did. I hope they never have the chance to do this to someone else. This has devastated me and my family.”
Vicary is now reportedly “racked with guilt,” Julia Cox, who represented Vicary, told the court.
She added that her crime was “abhorrent and disgusting”.
The court heard that Vicary is suspected to have a personality disorder that is likely to stem from her childhood when she was exposed to trauma.
It was said that Vicary didn’t gain any sexual gratification from the abuse but instead did it to please Colmer.
She was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison, with an extended license period of three years.
Vicary also had to pay a £190 victim surcharge and a sexual harm prevention order was put in place.
